Clitheroe Beer Festival May 2011

More than 1500 people attended the 4th Clitheroe Beer Festival organised jointly by CAMRA East Lancashire and St. Mary's Centre Management last weekend.

68 different beers as well as 21 ciders and perries were available for the attendees to try.

Once again it was a sell out with queues forming outside the hall at peak times and the beer just about lasting until the end of the Saturday Night Session. Entertainment was provided by local band "Compared to What" and festival regulars "The Witnesses".

The organisers would like to thank all those local businesses who provided barrel sponsorship and the Community Rail Partnership and Transdev for their glass sponsorship. We should also like to thank all those volunteers from CAMRA and the St. Mary's Centre Volunteers who worked so hard to make this event a success.

Planning is underway for next year's event which will once again be in May so look out for details on this website.
